Dear Lake Whitney Families, 

 

Welcome back to a new school year! We're excited to kick off another year of learning and growth together. The first day of school will be Monday, August 11. The school day for students is from 8:45 AM to 3:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday is from 8:45 AM to 2:00 PM. Gates will open at 8:15 AM. Belmere walkers will now come to the front office at arrival and be let in to go to class. They will be dropped off at the gate as usual in the PM at dismissal.

As we start, I kindly ask for your patience and cooperation during arrival and dismissal times. These are busy moments, and your patience will help ensure that everything runs smoothly for everyone. 

In the event of inclement weather, please follow our rainy-day plan to keep all students safe and dry. If there are any changes to your child's dismissal routine, please be sure to inform both the front office and your child’s teacher as soon as possible. In the event of inclement weather, car rider and walker parents will come to the front office to pick up students with their Identification or car tag. Bus riders will remain in classrooms until it is safe to board the bus. Parents are welcome to come pick up their students if they are bus riders, but please inform the office of your plan.

We’re also thrilled to share that our school has once again achieved an “A” rating! This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and families. I couldn’t be prouder of our community.
