Principal's Message

Dear Families

What a fantastic first week! It was truly wonderful to see all of our students' smiling faces back in the hallways and classrooms. The energy and excitement were contagious, and we're so happy to have everyone back.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work through the beginning-of-the-year routines, especially with our car line. Your understanding is greatly appreciated as we all get back into the swing of things.

Important Reminders for Arrival and Dismissal

To ensure everyone's safety and keep our traffic flowing smoothly, please keep these important points in mind:

Stay in your car: For the safety of all students and staff, please remain in your vehicle when dropping off or picking up your child.
Pull all the way forward: Help us keep the line moving efficiently by pulling up as far as you can.
Use parking spots: If you need to come into the front office in the morning, please park in a designated parking spot. This prevents traffic from backing up.
Safety first: Always use the crosswalks and never cut through the car line.

Inclement Weather Procedures

In the event of lightning, we will prioritize the safety of our students by keeping them indoors. This affects our dismissal procedures as follows:

Walkers and car riders: If lightning is in the area at dismissal, students will not be released to walk or be picked up in the car line. We will notify you that you'll need to come to the front office with your ID to get a pass to pick up your child directly from their classroom.
Bus riders: Students who ride the bus will wait inside the building until the weather is clear. We will then release them to board their buses. If you prefer to pick up your bus rider on a day with inclement weather, you must come to the front office with your ID.

We will send a message to all families letting you know when we are all clear and dismissal is proceeding.
