Principal's Message

Hello Lake Whitney Families,

We had a terrific week last week! We not only survived our first inclement weather day but also introduced our new House system on Friday. All students randomly drew a colored brag tag, and that color now represents their House! This system is designed to build a strong school-wide culture and community, and all of our staff members are part of a House, too. We're all excited to continue building a positive and supportive environment for everyone on campus.

Our Houses are centered around the REACH acronym, which stands for a different positive message:

R = Respect: Respect your teachers, your peers, and the class and school expectations at all times.
E = Effort: Pay attention, be prepared, and always try your best!
A = Attitude: Be positive, kind, helpful, and courteous. Keep negative comments to yourself.
C = Cooperation: Be willing to work with anyone and be a team player.
H = Honesty: Always tell the truth, and take accountability and ownership for your actions.

We are looking forward to this new House system and continuing to build a positive culture and community. If your student was at school on Friday, be sure to ask them which House they belong to!
